Anna Marie Whitebread

Anna Marie (Valentine) Whitebread passed away peacefully at home, on March 6, 2023, surrounded by family in Las Vegas, NV.

Anna Mae grew up in Niagara Falls, NY, where she attended local schools. She was an avid reader, scrabble player, was a great cook like her mother, and enjoyed sharing stories of her early years in Niagara Falls. Anna Mae was always available for anyone in need. Above all, Anna Mae centered her life around her family who will miss her dearly.

Anna Mae is survived by her husband, Johnny (Ponebianco) Whitebread. Her daughters, Cynthia (Michael) Rose, Christine (Michael) Stanish, and Marylouise (late John) Lauer.

Anna Mae’s parents were (late) Carmen and Edith (Gagliardi) Valentine. Her sisters were (late) Jennie (Lawrence Colosi, John Scavulli), (late) Sarah (Victor Ianni), as well as Theresa (late Alfred) Fillippelli.

Anna Mae is survived by her 3 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren, 3 nephews, and 4 nieces.

Anna Mae’s celebration of life was held on March 18, 2023.

  • Lovely write up. I know how much you all must miss her. Every time I fold a fitted sheet I think of your mom. She taught me how to do them the ‘right way’ in your kitchen on LaSalle Ave. Your mom was always so kind to me and always treated me like family.
