On Friday, June 9, 2023 at 7:35 am, Dolly Flores Brutton-Concepcion passed away on her 79th Birthday in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was surrounded by her loved ones, especially her youngest daughter and granddaughters. Dolly was a strong, beautiful, intelligent, and vibrant woman. She was born and raised in the Philippines and graduated with a bachelor’s degree at University of the East in the Philippines. In 1979 she received sponsorship for a United States work visa and became a naturalized United States Citizen in 1987. Dolly was a Civil Aviation Agent, then later became part of Filipino-American associations, and for many years she worked for an attorney. Dolly also endeavored a variety of other business partnerships through-out her life. Dolly enjoyed helping others and one of her favorite things to do was catering Filipino food. She was known to cook very delicious dishes and her most popular signature dish was pancit-loglog which was requested by many people.
Above all, Dolly was very proud of her children. She will surely be missed by family and friends, but she may now rest peacefully and be reunited with her parents and her siblings. “The Lord is close to the broken hearted, and binds up their wounds” – Psalms 34:18
