Garry Lynn Harvey Sr.

Garry Lynn Harvey Sr. 79 of Las Vegas, NV passed peacefully away June 12, 2020 at his home among his loved ones to
be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, which has been the greatest desire of his heart.

He was born in Houston, Texas at Harmon Hospital to the late Fred and Thelma Harvey on June 15, 1940. After graduating
High School he joined the Air Force and served for 20 years as a Precision Measuring Equipment Technician. He also
served during the Vietnam War. After retiring with an Honorable Discharge he traveled to Alaska to spend the rest of his
days, which had been his dream.

In Alaska he attended Gospel Outreach Church where he created close relationships and bonds that will last forever.
His heart and soul were dedicated to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and he persevered to share God’s love with any
person he came in contact with.

He is survived by Dory Carreon (former wife) and their children Garry Jr, Chris, and Greg Harvey, and also by
Becky Harvey (former wife) and their children Jason Harvey, and Jessica Harvey (Alexis Bethel).

He is also survived by his siblings Jeff Harvey(brother) and Cheryl Medley(sister), and their children.

His ashes will be laid to rest at Fort Richardson National Cemetery in Anchorage, Alaska where he will receive full military
honors for his dedicated service.
