Grace Russell

Grace Russell (nee Fletcher) passed away on January 30, 2022 in Henderson, NV.  Grace was born November 1, 1939 in Philadelphia, PA.  She joins her husband of 50 years Francis (Frank) Russell and parents, George and Daisy Fletcher.  She is survived and sadly missed by sons, Michael (Katherine) and Steven Russell (Lisa Gamboa), sisters Elaine Fletcher and Lois Heimann, grandchildren Matthew, Alexandra and Jenna Russell.  Also survived by niece and nephew Susan Pletz and Kevin Heimann.

Grace worked in the Personnel Department with the Internal Revenue Service before retiring and relocating to Nevada.  She enjoyed traveling to include several cruises with her husband and sisters.

Grace lived her life in a kind, caring and compassionate way.  She loved family above all else and was devoted to her children and grandchildren.  She spent countless hours playing games and being “hands-on” with her grandchildren.

Grace was passionate about the Holidays and was referred to as “Nana Claus”.  She spent months shopping and preparing stockings for the Christmas holiday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to St. Jude Hospital.  A memorial service will be held at 10am on March 4, 2022 at Palm Eastern Mortuary & Cemetery, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV.
