Joan S Cannon

Joan S Cannon went to Heaven on Nov 17, 2023 at the age of 92.  She was born in Friday  Harbor, Washington graduated from Friday Harbor High School. She moved to Las Vegas in 1965 and was a very successful business woman with the company she owned with her husband Leon . She is survived by her daughters Melinda Adkins, Michele Wilson (Gary) her granddaughters Alisha Sena, Scarlet Shimp(Jon) her grandsons Jesse Getz (Rebekah),  Ryan Jeanette ( Leigh) Tyler Orton, her great granddaughters Alexa Sena, Ashlyn Sena and great grandson Adam Getz. She is preceded in death by her husband Leon Cannon, her mother Violet Stringfellow, her father Jim Smith, her brother George Smith, and  her son Mitch Getz.

Joan loved her family. She enjoyed playing golf and bridge. She loved spending time on her pontoon boat.  She was a wonderful, generous and very caring leader to our family. She had a spunky spirit and a joy to be around   She will be greatly missed

    My mom was and always will be the light of my life! I enjoyed every moment I got to spend with you mom. Thank you for my life and all the joy you brought to it.
