Mrs. Lottie Mae Arnold, daughter of the late Willie Smith and Virgie Rivers, was born on January 3, 1933 in Des Moines, Iowa. She attended Polk County Public Schools, then she moved to Detroit, Michigan and attended Northern High School. She raised her family there with husband Lonnie Arnold, where she enjoyed passing time studying numerology using her 3 Wise Men Dream Books. They moved back to Des Moines to be close to family, where Mr. Arnold preceded her in death on April 14, 1989.
Mrs. Arnold eventually moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota to live with her daughter Stephanie, then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to be with her daughter Tonja.
Mrs. Lottie Mae Arnold departed this life on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at the Villa Court Memory Care Facility in Las Vegas, Nevada after suffering a broken hip one week prior. She was placed under hospice care and never recovered.
She will be remembered by her children: Tonja McClendon; Stephanie Arnold; Son-in-law Will McClendon. Grandchildren: Robert Scott; Nickol Scott; Stephon Arnold; Arisheka Arnold; Several great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
