Mary A. Yobb, residing in Las Vegas, Nevada, age 69, entered into eternal life on Saturday, June 12, 2021. Born in Niskayuna, New York, on Wednesday, July 11, 1951, daughter of Frank Yobb, Jr and Elinor Yobb. Mary was a happy and ambitious woman, who would not take no as an answer. She enjoyed her family, crocheting, sewing, playing games of Tetris and sudoku, and keeping up to date with anything news related. She was a very selfless person, who made sure that everyone around her were elated. Beloved wife of the late William Smith m, a remarkable mother for her son Francis Yobb-Smith, & newly grandmother to granddaughter Sienna Yobb-Smith. Sibling of Katherine, Frances, Margaret, and Elinor. Stepmotherly figure to Luciann Grossman and stepgrandmotherly figure to Aleksandr Grossman, Stesha Grossman, Nicole Grossman, and Sara Grossman.
Mary graduated from Pace University in 1989 with a BFA in Theatre Tech & Theatre History. She previously worked as a wardrobe dresser and stitcher in the performing arts industry at the prestigious Paper Mill Playhouse and Prudential Center for 23 years. In 2014, the National Association of Professional Women Announced Mary A. Yobb, at the time, Owner at Tumble My Colors, LLC dba Color Me Mine, as a 2014 VIP Woman of the Year.
