Mary Anna (Itza) Gray, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Reno, NV, with her husband Phil Gray and children Richard Bacarella and Brigitte Bacarella by her side.
Mary Anna was born April 2, 1958 in Winnemucca NV to Marion and Jeanette (Fletcher) Itza. She graduated from Lander County High School in 1976. She spent much of her career as a beautician in Battle Mountain and owned her own business, 3rd Street Retreat. After retiring from doing hair she worked in several odd jobs around town, and spent time focusing on her home life and caring for her favorite children, her dogs, George and Papeita. She enjoyed cooking authentic Basque food, Italian food, and making breakfast for her dogs. She loved working in her garden and was part of the garden club in Battle Mountain. Mary Anna also known as Grandma No No loved spending time with her granddaughter Elcee and all of the children in her life. Grandma No No always hosted Easter for all the kids dying eggs for an Easter egg hunt and having a big lunch.
Mary Anna is preceded in death by her mother and father Marion and Jeanette (Fletcher) Itza, and her brothers Dickie and Damon Itza. She is survived by her husband Phil Gray, her children Richard Bacarella, Brigitte Bacarella, Natalie Todd and husband Mike, and Justin Gray, her granddaughter Elcee Bacarella, and her brothers Danny Itza, and David Itza and wife Kristine, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Mary Anne was best friend thru school and out of school. She is the most beautiful 😍 💗 person. I am so lucky to have had a friend like her. Please rest in peace my beautiful friend you will missed. Love always.
