On Saturday, August 29, 2020, Patrick Wayne McGurk, loving son and brother passed away at age 38.
Patrick was born on February 12, 1982 in Las Vegas, NV to Dale and Johnnie Susan McGurk. Patrick graduated from Eldorado High School, attended College of Southern Nevada, and graduated from Nevada School of Trucking. Patrick worked for Citizens Area Transit (CAT bus) for many years.
Partrick had a passion for firearms. He also was an avid movie collector. Patrick enjoyed reading mythological science fiction.
Patrick was preceded in death by his grandparents John and Alma Bowler, Leo McGurk, his father, Dale McGurk, and his aunt Lora Bowler. He is survived by his grandmother Ardys McGurk, mother Johnnie Susan McGurk, stepfather Leland Lewis, brother Daniel Lynn McGurk, brother-in-law Christopher Wayne Lykins, cousin Wyatt John Bowler-DeSoto, and girlfriend Kelly Shoroye.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 19th, 2020 at the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 1825 N Hollywood Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89156 at 11am. Due to Covid-19 precautions mask must be worn and limited to 50 guests. A celebration of life will be held that evening at 3500 Haverford Ave Las Vegas, NV 89121 at 5pm.
