Siegbert Martin Schuller

Siegbert Martin Schuller was born on May 4, 1964 in Vocklamarkt, Austria. At the age of 3, he relocated with his family to the United States in June 1967, settling in Cleveland, Ohio. Over the years, Siegbert called various places home, including Ohio, North Carolina, and Arizona, before finally making Reno, Nevada, his permanent residence in 2004. Tragically, Siegbert passed away in Reno, Nevada, on April 23, 2024.

Siegbert is survived by his father, Martin Schuller (Inge Schuster); sister, Edith Mausser (Arnold); brother, Thomas Schuller (Darcy); three nieces: Andrea Blackburn (Nathan), Martina Mausser, and Sabina Schuller; and three nephews: Louis Mausser (Kaity), Joseph M. Mausser, and Caiden Schuller. He also has an aunt and cousins in Cleveland and Columbus, as well as many others in Austria and Canada.

After graduating from Midpark High School, he pursued a career as a plasterer, finding particular joy in “Drivit” exterior stucco applications, a skill passed down from his father, Martin. Siegbert’s passions included skiing, especially in the mountains, and following international skiing competitions. Music was another love; he enjoyed rock and roll classics by Aerosmith and German songs like Griechischer Wein. Affectionately known as Sigi, he was characterized by his generous heart, infectious laughter, quick wit, and a commitment to a simple lifestyle. Among his favorite items were Austrian-made skis, ski boots, ski attire, Estragon Senf, and Mannerscnitten.

Siegbert’s final resting place will be Sunset Memorial Garden, next to his late mother, Katharina Schuller (Thellmann), with the burial scheduled for a later date.
