Wenefrida Noble Bayro

Winnie Bayro, 76, was finally reunited with her beloved husband, Phil Bayro, when she passed away on October 9, 2021.  She is survived by her children, Anne Lucius, Anthony Bayro, and Marie Bayro.  She was also Lola to grandchildren JJ Moon, Jordan Moon, Jacy Moon, Cale Bayro, Luke Bayro, and Havah Bayro.

Born in the Philippines on November 3, 1944, Winnie was the sixth of eight children.  As a young girl, she learned to work hard academically, attending the Philippine Women’s University, which lead her to opportunities to study abroad.  After marrying Phil, she was able to join several of her siblings in the States, and had a long career as a Registered Dietician.

Winnie was best known for her Filipino cooking, especially her homemade pancit and lumpia.  She was happiest eating a good meal, and then preparing for the next.  Above all, family and friends most enjoyed her happy demeanor, smile and laugh, which will be deeply missed.

Thank you so much Anthony. You’re Mom will always be a part of us. Her laughter, her jokes and friendship will always be remembered. I was blessed and able to attend by zoom her requiem mass.
